My Story

I love colors, rainbows, shiny things, and crystals. It’s important for me that my artwork gives you a proverbial slap across the face.

I have been making art my entire life - since as far back as I can remember. Growing up I just made work every day. It was just a way of life.

I wake up every single day with a ravenous desire to create SOMETHING! I love using my hands and the satisfaction of bringing all my intensity and energy and fusing it with my passions and interests in learning many diverse subject matters.

I like to take risks with my work and that sometimes looks like using costly and precious materials and setting them in resin knowing that the work could be "ruined" because of all the possible chaotic factors. But it never does get ruined, it just gets made.

I use resin because it's permanent, hard, unforgiving and shiny! It imposes a deadline with its cure time of 30-45 minutes and forces me to make lots of quick decisions and capitalize on my impulsivity and intuition.

Art is the arena in my life in which I first discovered completely leaving the thinking mind and being in a state of timeless flow. In this space I lose all judgements, thoughts and inhibitions. I am ok with having no control and I actually get a sense of comfort and control from the certainty of the uncertainty.

Each work that I make I discover a new avenue for expressing my passion and the freedom to be my most authentic version of myself in the present moment. My work is an invitation for you to not be bogged down by how things should be, but to embrace how things are. To fall in love with the process, shock yourself, let go, jump up with joy, and discover that you don't know what the fuck you are doing and it’s amazing. That's the magic.

I want to thank you for coming along with me on this journey of self expression and discovery and if you are up it, interact with me, be inspired, and dive recklessly into your interests and passions. What are you passionate about?
